Create Your Own Workout from the Web

If you’re looking to get fit – (and who isn’t) it may be tempting to pay a high priced personal trainer or get a pricey gym membership. But there’s really no need to do either one. So much information about fitness is available on the internet, that anyone can create their own workout using free and readily available information.

First, it’s important to determine your goals. Are you trying to lose weight? Tone up? Gain strength? Build bulk? Or, is your goal simply to improve your overall health and fitness level? Answering these questions before you begin will make it easier to pick the right workout elements.

Do something you like and something that gets your heart rate into the right training zone. Your choices in strength training exercises vary widely, and should be based on your goals. Once you’ve set your goals, it’s extremely important to track and monitor your progress. If you can’t see how far you’ve come, it may be too tempting to give up.
